Read 22.19 in the FAQ "How to set up a Dual DOS/Windows installation" It works great for me. BTW, I thought it might be faster to compile programs from plain DOS, as I have only 20MB on my 486-DX2/66. But to my surprise the compilation was faster in a windows DOS-Box. When I loaded smartdrv in plain DOS the times were nearly equal, so I guess the DPMI and the HD cache made the difference first!? Greetings from Cologne Peter
