Non-djgpp questions really don't belong in the djgpp newsgroup. It 
would be better to ask on the Allegro mailing list: you can find
subscription information in the Allegro readme file.

The latest WIP version allows you to build Allegro programs using
Mingw32, although you still need MSVC to compile Allegro itself 
(or you can download a DLL that has already been built by someone
else).

You probably didn't run the fixup batch file to select Mingw32
compilation: see readme.mgw for installation instructions.
