Anybody has tried to print from a DJGPP program in this kind of printer? It
works some time but then you get an error from the driver and it stops
printing.
Reinstalling the driver it works some time but then it fails.
This kind of printer has only circuits to plot pixels, it doesn't know what
is a letter, for example, so all the work about composition of a page must
be done by the Windows driver.
I have been trying with instructions from HP, including interesting things
like MODE LPT1,,P, deactivating bidirectional comms with HPFCFG13.EXE or
switching to full screen :-) but always fails after some pages.
Does anyone know a solution?
Thank you
Rafael García
