What should concern most users is not whether M$ gets broken up or not. It's where BigBuck$ Bill is putting himself into. He's not Cheap Software Architect, which basically means he's going back to his roots - programming and designing software. This is like flying your own 747 and going where ever you like. If anyone has read the now infamous Halloween Documents, and heard Bill's press statement, you will realize something is really wrong. There are statements in the Halloween Docs referring to "decommoditizing protocols" on the Internet and "attacking the process" of Open Source Software development. If my gut-feeling is right, this is what Bill is probably planning to do... In his recent statements there are hints that he is planning to make Windoze "the operating system of the Internet". Hey, Windoze does badly on the desktop on a single computer. Imagine what would happen if Windoze runs the Internet... ZZZZZzzzzzzz
But then again, maybe it's just me.
