I didn't say you didn't know COFF.  I just said that a bug is generally not
smart enough to know about COFF.

I know that what I suggested might sound crazy, but so does the problem you
described.  When rational and simple explanations fail, it's time to try
irrational and not-so-simple ones ;-)

So: can you please search all your drives and directories for files named
djgpp.djl, and see how many of them do you have and how are they different?

Also, I understood earlier that you get different sections when compiling the
same source file.  Is that correct, or did I misunderstand you?
