I guess you must have different configurations for DOS and windows. Here are a few hints: Check your djgpp environment variable under both os's. Just type 'set' at the prompt. Do they both point to the same djgpp.env file? Do you use long filename support under windows? Are you maybe trying to use it under DOS as well? I keep two versions of DJGPP.ENV on my system. One for DOS, one for Windows, one with lfn=n and one with lfn=y. Did you unzip your installation under windows? Did you modify your registry like the FAQ suggests to disable those stupid numbers in the short versions of your filenames? -- Manni
