demo.dat is an Allegro format datafile, and was created using
the grabber program.

I'm not entirely clear which "Allegro" text you are referring
to here, as different parts of the data in demo.dat were created
in different ways. The intro animation is a FLIC file that was
rendered using 3DS Max, the title screen logo is a bitmap that
I drew using Neopaint, and the other fonts were exported from
my TTF2PCX program.
