It's certainly possible - see my FAQ for some details. I don't know
exactly how the data is sent in Italy, but I think it is the Bellcore
system as used in America.
There are data protection issues involved here, but as long as you're
not selling the data, you should be OK. Again, I don't know the
relevant Italian law.
