Depends.
1. Is your game character-cell (mode 03h, etc.) based? There's a
   BIOS function for that. Ralf Brown has more to say about this:
   http://www.ctyme.com/intr/rb-0135.htm
   You'll need to copy your font into the transfer buffer so this
   interrupt can copy it into the VGA RAM.

   There are more useful video BIOS functions in int 10h.

2. Is your game graphics based? Allegro (*the* game library) has
   a font loader; read the Allegro docs for more info.
