Of course they are identical, if they weren't, programs would have
to be written separately for Intel, AMD, Cyrix, IDT, Rise, etc.
These processors are x86 compatible.
You are right about the alpha, that one needs separately written
programs.
You can say that, if it runs the original MSDOS 6, it's x86
compatible.
