> Some DJGPP distributions that come on compact discs included > with "learn C++" books are missing essential components. > There was a thread here recently about one of these books. Aaah - I was thinking to the Walnut Creek CD-ROM about Ada, where the `ez2load' distribution is available. It is simply a mirroring of the original distribution on ftp. It could indicate that when a software is well packaged from start, it has more chances to be installable on copies (e.g. "learn C++"). The small installer program has sources in C (I think), and could be profitable to main C/C++ DJGPP. Take a look! -- Gautier _____\\________________\_______\_________ http://members.xoom.com/gdemont/gsoft.htm
