Hello,
Well, the first thing is, if someone can point me to a good allegro tutorial
(or maybe there is a book???)... Now I help myself with vivace tutorial and
the docs od allegro but the most I need is the part of vivace that it isn't
written yet (7th chapter "More 2D graphics" i think), but that isn't enough.
I'm now learning some basics of allegro and have some problems:
I'm now in 24 bit graphics mode. Why do I have to specify a palette when
loading a .pcx file if palettes aren't used in hi or trucolor modes? Also,
if I am in 24 bit mode (or 16bit, or 32bit) every image loads so slowly...
what's the problem (I have a 12mb video memory...)???
Thanks,
Matej
