I use UltraEdit to compile C++ programs with DJGPP and work very fine. My
tool configuration is:

Command line: gcc -g -c %N%E
Working directory: %P

But for large projects, I use 'make' in the command line with a makefile.

Try to compile a C++ module in a DOS box. I think that if this work, you
might not have problems with UltraEdit.

Good luck
