If you want to get a VBE/AF driver for your card so you can see
what it's like you can try the freebee/AF drivers from the allegro site
<http://www.talula.demon.co.uk/allegro>.
Or you can download the Scitech display doctor package from
Scitech software <http://www.scitechsoft.com> (I think this URL is
correct) which will also create a VBE/AF driver in your c:\ directory.
On my Old 486/DX2 VBE/AF speeded up things dramatically. So
you might want to get it and see whether there is any improvement.
