if one writes code for windows32 api - wouldn't be simpler to use mingw32? i mean both are like ports of gnu software - so should be very easy to switch... i had no problem using mingw32 to access and control threads in win32 console app for example... all the api and windows.h are included in the distribution i think - so to put is very simply just #include <windows.h> and u r in windows 32 api land (well almost ;-) With best regards * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Leøn * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
