We prefer that errors be posted as text. Under W9x, use
the "dotted line box" select tool to drag across the screen,
press Enter to copy, and paste into your newsreader)

But if you have to post a bitmap, post in a compressed
format (that is, PNG or JPEG).


Your problem is that you don't have the netwide assembler
NASM installed. Because of Gas's convoluted AT&T syntax,
many developers have chosen NASM, whose syntax is closer
to Intel's and which makes GCC-compatible .o files.
Look for NASM (or anything for that matter) on Google.
