I have 128Mb of RAM on my computer most of which I would like to have
available for programs that I write using the djgpp c++ compiler.   When
I do the go32-v2, it only shows around 4Mb available.  I read the FAQ
(Sections 3.9 - 3.10 of the most recent FAQ on the djgpp web site) and
seemed to have found a contradiction.  First of all I don't understand
all of the discussion on memory managers but in Sec 3.8d there is a
pitch to use a memory manager such as EMM386 or QEMM.  However, in the
next section 3.10 ("How to get the most RAM for djgpp programs") it
states "Do *not* install any memory mangers:  most of them will limit
the amount of accessible memory to 64Mb (EMM386 usually liimits it to
32MB ....)".  Also, my config.sys file is empty. I am running Windows 95
and plan to use the ms-dos prompt window.  I know something about
setting the extended memory value on the memory tab of the properties
dialog box of the ms-dos prompt shell.
