HI I would like to say tou have a great product but I am having problems
compiling work needed for an A-Level (entry to university rests on this
qualification)
I made a file by entering dos and selecting my directory djgpp was
installed in, I went edit dec (this was my file name, i did
not put a .c on the end of the name), I then downlaoded the following
files (the file was made before DJGPP was installed);
v2/copying.dj, v2/djevdev202.zip v2/fag211b.zip
v2/readme.1st v2apps/rhide14b.zip v2gnu/bnu281.zip
v2gnu/gcc2951b v2gnu/mak377b.zip v2gnu/txi312b.zip
I am running win 95 (4.00.950 B) and running GJGPP in dos.
I then changed the autoexe.bat to include the line of code in the
instalation instructions, I included them both after a PATH commmand,
PATH=C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND;C:\;C:\UTILS. I changed the DJGPP
folder of both lines to the folder in which I had unzipped the files. If
I double clicked on the autoexe.bat a small dos window came up but the
first line was an error message, Both lines were put after a path
command and before C:\Windows\command\doskey. Could this be the problem.
Then when I tried to compile the file I had made (after restarting
computer) I compiled it by making the current directory the one with
DJGPP installed on it. and typing gcc -o dec.exe dec, which resulted in
teh eror message;
FATAL: ERROR IN DJGPP INSTILATION
ENVIRONMENT VARIABLE
DJGPP IS NOT DEFINED
It could be something with the command lines I entered, but all the
files downlaoded were chosen by the zip picker.
Thanks, this is important
