The next release of CWSDPMI should support 2GB. PMODE/DJ is available in the v2misc subdirectory on the usual DJGPP sites. Another alternative is to use CWSDPR0 or use CWSDPMI with the swap file disabled (see CWSDPMI.DOC for how to do that).
