If you are not going to use Emacs,
If you are not going to use vi (VIM),
If you are not going to use even RHIDE,
At least do yourself a favor, and use PFE32,

Which is the editor I learned,
After I was forced to use a PC.
Before which I used UNIX,
Where I learned vi and Emacs.
