Hello!
When releasing the resources of a memory mapped device, why does
__dpmi_free_physical_address_mapping fail?
....
if(__dpmi_free_ldt_descriptor(Info.Selector) == SUCCESSFUL)
// workes fine!
{ DPMIInfo.address = Info.Linear;
// SUCCESSFUL is defined with 0
if(__dpmi_free_physical_address_mapping(&DPMIInfo) == SUCCESSFUL)
// <--- fail! : return value: -1
{ return(true); // everything worked fine!
}else
{ return(false); // unmapping failed
}
Please send your solution(s) and/or comment(s) to
Martin_Czamai AT peak-service DOT com . Thank you!
best regards
Martin Czamai
