Hello,
sorry if it is an offtopic but I have been searching unsuccesfuly.
I am preparing a cdrom distribution with useful software for the rest of
the students of the faculty where I study, most of the software will be
GNU ( DOS and Linux ) in order to promote this kind of expression on my
university.
I am a DJGPP programmer and I am very happy with it, that is why I want
to include it on the distribution in order to make it available to all (
locally ). I read the FAQ and I understood that I can redistribute it
without problems, is it right ? I must put the source code too, but for
space restrictions can I explain where to get them instead of include
them on the cdrom ?
I would like to know the same about the Cygwin distribution, do I have
to include the sources or can I refer to them ?
I am a little confused about OPENDOS. I think that it is what now
became to DRDOS. I have read that it is 'free' for non comercial use,
is it true ? can I use it in my home ? students can use it without
problems ? someone know about the redistribution restrictions ?
There is a DRDOS distribution for DOSEMU that is aparently free (
complete ) but no redistributable, I revisited the page and it is
changed, it doesn't have more information, just a download link.
someone can explain me its licence ?
I know that this is not the best place to ask the most of my questions,
but I have been searching without success and I want to prepare this
compendium of tools for students as fast as I can. ( promoting the
software that I like makes me happy :) )
thank you for your help,
