Hi! I´m programming a pbem game with GRX 2.3, which will run on DOS and Linux/X11. Now I´m running in a little problem, maybe some of you guys can help me. The game uses bitmaps with 230 colors (the others are reserved for my interface-graphics). With DOS and X11 with more than 256 colors, no problem - BUT: If I use X11 with 256 colors, grx just allocates the free colors (the ones other applications didn´t use). My question is: "How can I say GRX that it should use ALL colors with a color switching technique - as seen in netscape navigator or lincity for example?" Thanks in advance Stefan --- Stefan Giesen aka Igor[Rock] EMail: Stefan DOT Giesen AT gmx DOT de WWW: http://www.homepages.de/sgiesen AT dialup DOT nacamar DOT de
