: I've looked around quite a bit and haven't found
: anything fitting this description other than something called Libsocket,
: which has been giving me headaches so far.
What problems have you been having with it?
: Is there anything else around that might work?
Look at the libsocket links page:
http://www.phekda.freeserve.co.uk/richdawe/lsck/lsck_lnk.htm
There are some links to other libraries. BTW libsocket is the only
library, to my knowledge, that works with Winsock 2, e.g. Win98.
