The BITMAP struct has two members called w and h - widht and height.. so... DATAFILE *df; BITMAP *bm; bm = (BITMAP *) df[offset].dat; /* get a pointer to the bitmap for convenience */ int width = bm->w; int height = bm->h; Hope this helps. Brendan.
