hello all,

  i'm not sure if this bug is known about, or has been fixed:

  when i use the "m" size option in split, eg:  'split a.out 2m a', many
many small files are created, rather than two megabyte files.  according
to the help for split, the m modifier should make the size as megabytes.

  k and b appear to work fine for kilobytes and bytes.
