I would agree RSXNTDJ is not the easiest package to get up and going.
However, there are two GNU based solutions and Lcc-Win32 that already cover
this area.

This is a debate I have with myself; given limited time and resources, is it
really worthwhile polishing RSXNTDJ when someone wishing to build Windows
apps can already download MingW32, for instance, and start coding?
