As far as I can see, neither `textbackground' nor `textcolor' support
16 background colors currently.  Sorry I didn't look in the sources
before.

This will be corrected in the next release.  I can send you a fixed
library module which you will have to put into the C library, and then
it will work for you with 16 background colors.
