Thank you, Mr. Santillan. I downloaded and installed DragonLinux on my 486
and it works well. And I can afford the drive space, so I am going to leave
it in.
Do you think I could use some of the utilities and programs that are on the
Red Hat 5.0 and OpenLinux CDs? Perhaps I could get X and some other
good things from these CDs and not have to download them. Do you think
these would work with DragonLinux--assuming the ones I install are not
kernal or Red Hat or OpenLinux specific.?
I have these packages on the shelf now until I get a bigger machine. There
must be hundreds of good Linux utilities in them.
