It's more than that. He prolly already has them, but Rhide thinks
it's named libstdcx.a when in fact it's called libstdcxx.a
Read the Faq, section 8.7, where it tells you to add this line
RHIDE_TYPED_LIBS.cc=stdcxx
Add more lines, replacing .cc with whatever extension you want
associated with C++ Source code.
