well, the command dir c:\djgpp\lang\cxx\stream*.* is just listing the
files in that directory. first of all you need to set your djgpp
envirnment in dos; ie : Set djgpp=C:\djgpp\djgpp.env
also you need to set your path variables to your \diggp\bin directory;
ie: set path=C:\windows\command; C:\djgpp\bin. that will allow for
running of djgpp programs in the \bin directory. the set djgpp= will
ensure that gcc and the like will always find what they need (provided
that you installed it correctly.)
