You don't *need* the MSSDK files - you can still create Windows files from
the headers included with RSXNTDJ. In the first example in the RSXNTDJ help
file add the line
#include <windows.h>
to the very top, and it should compile as stated.

The SDK is needed to use the more complex features of Windows. The version
of the SDK in the help file is out of date. Microsoft has updated it and has
thrown in anything related to Windows in doing so - I think it even contains
the DirectX SDK. Of course, this means that the patch file that comes with
RSXNTDJ is also out of date.

http://people.montana.com/~bowman/Rsxntdj/rsxntdj.htm contains a (partial?)
patch for the SDK.
