Definitely. I am currently working on a port, which I undertook as a
learning experience, as I was not that familiar with GNU software, the
problems of moving it to DOS, and some of the mechanics of source
control, etc. I am doing my best for insure it will build with or
without LFN support, on Windows, on DOS, and with or without bash and
friends.
The test will be if someone not familiar with the package will be able
to build it smoothly, and I will need feedback on any problem areas.
I would like to stress again: files such as readme.djg, readme.1st,
please_oh_please_read_me, are not there to fill up nooks and crannies in
a zip file.
