This isn't directly related to any of the ongoing converations in this
group, I'm posting this message because I receive spam every time I post a
message to a news group.
If you're like me, you hate spam. Do you want to do something about it?
I understand that you probably dont have time or aren't interested at this
*instant* in time. But when you get around to it, you'll have this
message in your archives....
there are two URLs of interest:
www.junkemail.org this has a link for reporting unsolicited email and
scamspam. If you loose money in a scam, it goes to the FTC.
the other link is

this contains all the legal nitty-gritty regarding spam...

There is another bill attempting to legalize spam. this page talks about
countering that bill.
