I was wondering when will newer existing utilities get converted into
the djgpp package. For example, I know that the following utilities
exist:  Bash 2.0.2, Binutils 2.9.1, gdb 4.17 and glibc 2.06.

When should we expect to see these versions as a part of the
standard djgpp package?
