This is a known problem (as of yesterday ;-).  Seems like this version
of GCC has problems woth Novell Client32 network software.  

Until this is solved, a work-around is to uninstall Novell (in Control
Panel -> Network) when compiling.  (You can later install it again, if
you need it.)
