Try using _NAIVE_DOS_REGS, as the library reference advises on the
`int86' page. (Btw, the FAQ mentions this in section 18.1.)

This means that you are passing some garbled or grossly incorrect
values in x and y. The proper way to solve these problems is to run
the program under a debugger, display the arguments that are passed to
the crashing function, and then find out where did those bogus values
come from.
