Yes, this is one of those really annoying, stupid questions, but I really
need advice from people who have actually done this stuff (Not another crap
faq). I recently learned how to do basic stuff with djgpp (Like making small
games with allegro...). But djgpp is a dos thing, and everyone these days
seems to be using Win95/98. I need advice on where and how to get into Win95
or 98, what language should I use (Like cygwin?), and where can I find some
information on all those win command things and how to make little file
icons and stuff? Basically, i want to learn how to use win98 and directx and
all those scary things MS created, but don't have a clue as to how. I also
found rsxntdj a bit confusing, is there a simpler way? (Like what Cygwin and
what other languages..?)
Thanks for any help...
