I'm having this problem running rhide in a DOS box under Win98 - it makes my CPU usage shoot up to 100%. Normally it's around 5-30% before this happens. I think this can't be helped though, and I'm thinking it must be a problem with Win98 allocating too much CPU resources to it's Virtual Machine (vm). It's the VM that DOS programs and Win3.1 programs run under. Actually, some trivial Windows 3.1 apps make the CPU usage shoot up to 100%. I can't figure out why; must be an inefficient and/or buggy Windows 98 virtual machine. Does Win95 have this problem? Any workarounds? Changing the DOS box settings doesn't change much. Donn
