>I think you get the highest level of warnings by using -Wall -O -ansi >-pedantic There are two broad groups of warnings. The most common ones are controlled by -Wall, the obscure (read not very useful) ones are controleld by -W. So -Wall -W gets probably 90% of them, but I think there are some that are only available is you explictly select them. Andy
