I recently got my my hands on a 2nd hand IBM ThinkPad 755CX, great fun for
on the go, but look what happens to the screen when an Allegro graphics
application is active. The screen automatically powers down (even when
powered by mains), and when restored basically trashes what was on the
screen. No it's not just a case of redrawing the screen, the entire screen
is funny - normally the image is compressed into the the top ~25% of the
screen - everything works OK, just can't see what I'm doing.
Anyone got any bright ideas: Is it possible to trap an interrupt to
temporarily restore text mode, or what?
Cheers all
