I'm just starting to use djgpp, and have a problem.

If I don't set djgpp to the correct value, most things work normal,
except that he can't find some files.
When I set it to the correct value, suddenly bash doesn't uses the long
filenames anymore, but the old dos filenames.

Is this normal? Am I doing something wrong?
