I've run into a problem with djgpp.... I've been at it for a week now and
and have no idea what i'm doing wrong....HELP. I read through the FAQ and
installed djgpp. I've attempted to add the necessary statements to my
autoexec.bat file while running windows and while in dos mode and both times,
after saving and rebooting, the file actually cannibalizes itself; the lines
actually disappear from the file. Any explanation for this?? I thought about
adding a CALL line to the batch file and putting the DJGPP path statement in a
new batch file, but that would make my problems even more. I'm using the
RHIDE interface with DJGPP and used DJ's zip-picker to get all the necessary
files, I hope it's functional. When running RHIDE in Windows, everything's
fine until i go to the RUN header to compile the file I've created. output
then says there was an error with DJGPP. Could someone please send me some
advice and the steps they used to get djgpp up and running? (I'm using win98,
if that has any bearing on any of the above) Thanks and any help would be
extremely appreciated at this point!
