I'm taking my first C programming course, online with ZDU. For a
compiler, I downloaded DJGPP. I unzipped the packages and installed as
instructed on the C drive of my pentium 233mmx. I have tried writing
simple programs from my textbook, using the editor in DOS mode of Win95.
But they don't compile. What should I do? Should I make a seperate
partition entirely and install it there? Should I install it on an old
computer, all by itself with DOS only? Should I forget it and install
FreeBSD and its compilers on a partition with Win95? This is my first
foray into anything so technical so any advise is welcome.
Thanks much, Steve W.
