Hi folks - Whenever I run ANY ALLEGRO program that uses sound I have
problems...
The ALLEGRO programs midi files play but not the wavs.
After the program has ended the next wav file that Windows tries to
play loops continuously at the very start, thus locking up my
computer. I then have to reboot in order to fix the problem.
My sound card is a: MagicSound16 16-bit PnP audio card from I/O Magic.
It uses an OPTi 931 sound chip and claims compatibility with Adlib,
Sound Blaster Pro, Roland MPU-401, and Windows Sound System. I am
using win 3.1 and have installed win32s. The computer itself is a
486/60 with 20Megs of ram installed.
If ALLEGRO programs, such as PIRATES (which I thought was cool ) do
this to my system, how many others does this happen on?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance
