Have you deleted the actual Borland directory, or at least taken it out
of the path. I had a similar problem because borland C++ put itself
before DJGPP in the DOS path and then when I tried to run make on a DJGPP
makefile the Borland make program would run instead, which caused all
sorts of problems.
