This is a known problem in the current release version of RHIDE. I
believe that the beta 1.4.5 has it corrected (you can download it from
RHIDE's home page), but the workaround for 1.4 is as simple as adding a
line to your djgpp.env. The file 'problems.txt' that comes with the gcc
2.8.1 binary distribution describes exactly what to do.
