You are right: it's minor. You need to remember it's called Hello.h and
press Shift-H before TAB.

Did you actually try this? On my system, when I do that, Emacs says
"file.ext and File.Ext are the same file" and doesn't create another
buffer. Doesn't it work for you that way?
