Strange ... Only one thing comes to my mind: If you are using gcc
2.8.x and you have multiline strings inside macros like this:
#define XX "That's \
a long \
string"
The gcc 2.8.x preprocessor will fail to report the lines because
doesn't join the string. That's a bug in 2.8.x.
