Did you download and unzip the C++ distribution?  If you have GCC 
2.7.2.1, then you need lgp271b.zip; if you have GCC 2.8.1, you need 
gpp281b.zip.  These files come with a library called libstdcxx.a which 
should unzip into your lib subdirectory.
